Joannes, also known as Jo, was born on August 29, 1977, in the vibrant city of Frankfurt, Germany. From a young age, he had a profound understanding that his true calling was to be an actor, and he set out to make his dream a reality.
As a determined individual, Jo enrolled in various drama workshops and classes, diligently preparing himself for a future in both theatre and television. His passion for acting only grew stronger as he continued to hone his craft, and he soon became a regular presence on the German television scene.
Throughout the late 1990s and early 2000s, Jo studied at the prestigious Arturo Drama School and attended private acting lessons in Cologne, further refining his skills and gaining valuable hands-on experience. His dedication to his craft paid off, as he was able to support himself financially through his acting work, beginning in 1998.
One of Jo's earliest notable roles was on the popular German soap opera, "Verbotene Liebe", where he played the iconic character of Oliver Sabel. This role would become a defining moment in his career, as he portrayed the character throughout 2002, only to return to the role five years later and continue to play it until present day.
In addition to his television work, Jo has also made a name for himself on the stage, most recently taking on the role of Enrico in the 2008 production of "Ganze Kerle" in Dusseldorf.
