Jeremy has had a distinguished career spanning over three decades as a professional actor. He has had the privilege of starring in a wide range of productions, including feature films, network television, and various theatrical venues such as Lincoln Center, Off-Broadway, Off-Off-Broadway, and regional theatre. His impressive repertoire includes commercials, on-camera work, and voiceovers, demonstrating his versatility and dedication to his craft.
In addition to his acting work, Jeremy has also explored various facets of the film, theatre, and television industries, including directing, stage management, and technical roles such as director of photography, boom operator, and more. His extensive experience has equipped him with a unique understanding of the production process, from concept to completion.
Jeremy's educational background is equally impressive, with a diverse range of instructors and workshops that have shaped his approach to acting. He began his studies in the early 1960s at San Francisco City College, where he was mentored by James Heron, a respected member of ACT. Concurrently, he participated in a daily workshop at The Committee, an improvisational company, under the guidance of Dick Schaal, John Brent, and Del Close.
He spent over a year and a half in a daily workshop at The Second City in Chicago, working with Jo Forsberg and focusing on Viola Spolin's Theatre Games. In New York, Jeremy studied with Francis Amorati, and in London, he benefited from John Paul Voos' recent return from Poland, where he had worked with Grotowski. He also spent six months at The Actors Studio in Los Angeles, observing Lee Strasberg's work with Studio members, and had workshops with Lee Grant and Bruce Dern during this period.
Throughout his career, Jeremy has had the opportunity to learn from numerous other teachers, too numerous to name. He began teaching acting in Hollywood in 1984 and has since taught globally.
