Jemma Danielle Bolt, a talented individual, was born in the United Kingdom during the 1980s, with her early years spent in Poole, Dorset, a charming coastal town in southern England. She was the daughter of Derek, a skilled architect, and Hayley, a dedicated nursery manager, who both instilled in her a strong foundation for her future endeavors.
From a tender age of three, Jemma's passion for performing was evident, as she joined a local dance academy, laying the groundwork for her future success in the world of entertainment. As she grew older, she continued to nurture her artistic talents, studying for a BTEC National Diploma in Performing Arts at The Jellicoe Theatre, and later, at The Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Arts, where she honed her craft and developed a deep love for theatre.
Throughout her academic journey, Jemma had the opportunity to take on a wide range of roles, showcasing her remarkable versatility as an actress. She played the iconic character of Abigail Williams in the stage adaptation of 'The Crucible' and the iconic Mr. Toad in 'The Wind in the Willows', further solidifying her passion for the performing arts.
However, Jemma's desire for adventure and exploration led her to embark on a journey of self-discovery, traveling around Europe and training as a ski guide. After returning to the UK, she rekindled her passion for acting, signing with her agent and landing small roles in films such as 'How To Lose Friends and Alienate People' (2008) and 'Last Chance Harvey' (2008).
Jemma's breakthrough role came when she landed her first leading part in Rupert Bryan's horror film, 'The Hike' (2011),followed by her appearance in the film 'The Time of Their Lives' (2017),starring the legendary Joan Collins and directed by the renowned Roger Goldby.
