Native of Canton, Ohio, Jeff's life journey began with a stint in the United States Marine Corps from 1973 to 1978. Following his military service, Jeff relocated to California in 1979, where he embarked on a career in the fashion industry, spending two years in Europe, falling deeply in love with the cultures of Spain, Italy, Germany, France, and Austria. His travels continued with a stint in Tokyo, before a surprising move to Pittsburgh, a city that would become a hub for his film industry endeavors.
The Pittsburgh film scene was thriving, and Jeff's career began to take shape. He started working as an extra on numerous television shows and films, gradually transitioning to stand-in work, driven by his desire to be closer to the action. His early experience included working alongside notable actors such as Richard Crenna, Walter Matthau, Nick Nolte, Jeff Fahey, and Bruce Willis. The latter collaboration, which spanned three years and six movies, was particularly significant, leading to his involvement in projects like Pulp Fiction, GET SHORTY, and BROKEN ARROW.
As Jeff continued to seek out compelling stories, they began to present themselves, and his career flourished. It was chance that brought Producer Brain Hartman and his Director-son Cody to Jeff, leading to an instant Producer role on the project UNSINKABLE, TITANIC UNTOLD. This experience further deepened his respect for the filmmaking process. Currently, Jeff is working with Writer/Producer Mark Golik to adapt the book THE CHICKEN RUNS AT MIDNIGHT, written by Tom Friend.
