Born in Kalamazoo, Michigan, to Marjorie (née Barnes) and Durward Goodrich, he is the proud descendant of Welsh, English, and Scottish heritage.
As a military brat, Jeffrey's upbringing was marked by a life of constant relocation, with his father, a Chief Warrant Officer, serving an impressive 30 years in the Army. The family resided in various locations, including Chitose, Japan, Fort Knox, Kentucky, and Radcliff, Kentucky, where Jeffrey attended North Hardin High School. It was during his time at North Hardin that he discovered his passion for acting.
Jeffrey's academic pursuits took him to Murray State University, where he became involved in theatre and radio. Prior to pursuing a career in acting, he worked as a Disc Jockey in various markets, including E-Town, Kentucky, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Flint, Michigan. Eventually, he made the move to Los Angeles to further his training and hone his craft.
Throughout his career, Jeffrey has had the privilege of performing with esteemed institutions such as the L.A. Connection at the Comedy Store, The Groundlings, and has established himself as a skilled stage actor and director, having trained under the guidance of the renowned Guy Stockwell. Moreover, he has voiced hundreds of radio commercials and story narrations, solidifying his versatility as a performer.
