His first feature-length project, Coppelia, is a modern fairytale designed for a family audience, conveyed without the use of words through a captivating blend of live-action dance and animation. Coppelia was conceived and written by Jeff, in collaboration with Steven De Beul and Ben Tesseur of Beast Animation. The film premiered at the prestigious Annecy International Animation Film Festival in 2021.
Prior to Coppelia, Jeff gained recognition for capturing and adapting exceptional dance, music, and theatre productions for the screen. He has directed numerous multi-camera, feature-length performance films for television and event cinema, showcasing his exceptional skill in bringing artistic masterpieces to life.
Throughout his career, Jeff has received numerous accolades, including the Golden Punt for Best Fiction Feature at the 40th Cambridge Film Festival for Coppelia, Best Musical Film at the San Diego International Kids' Film Festival for Coppelia, a Rose d'Or in the category of Arts, and a Czech Crystal at the Golden Prague International Television Festival in the category of Performing Arts.
