Jean Galland, a renowned French actor, took his first breath on the twenty-eighth day of May, eighteen hundred and eighty-seven, in the picturesque town of Laval, situated in the picturesque department of Mayenne, nestled in the heart of France.

Throughout his illustrious career, Galland left an indelible mark on the world of cinema, starring in a plethora of iconic films, including the 1932 masterpiece "Fantômas", the 1933 critically acclaimed "Le jugement de minuit", and the 1954 swashbuckling adventure "The Adventurer of Seville".

Galland's personal life was filled with love and devotion, as he shared his life with the talented actress Germaine Dermoz, his loving wife.
