Biography

J.D. Lewis, a renowned Acting Coach in America, founded The Actor's Lab in Los Angeles in 1990. With studios in four locations - Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs, Charlotte, North Carolina, and Portland, Oregon - he has had the privilege of working with some of the most prominent names in the entertainment industry.

As an actor, J.D. has made appearances on popular TV shows such as Friends, ER, Suddenly Susan, Oliver Beene, and even L.A. Law. He is perhaps best known for his role as Ross Parker on the NBC series Midnight Caller, starring alongside Gary Cole.

In the commercial sphere, J.D. was a prominent figure in the 80s and 90s, serving as the face of well-known brands such as Vidal Sassoon, L.A. Gear, and Bud Lite.

When he's not busy with his acting or coaching endeavors, J.D. divides his time between Tavira, Portugal, and Santa Barbara, California, while also conducting workshops globally.

Beyond his achievements as an actor and coach, J.D. is also recognized for his philanthropic efforts and humanitarian work. In 2012, he founded The Twelve In Twelve Foundation, which has been celebrated for setting a world record.

Notably, J.D. and his two sons, Jackson and Buck, made history by becoming the first family to visit all seven continents in one year, dedicating their journey to humanitarian pursuits. This remarkable feat is just one example of J.D.'s many accomplishments, which also include being a triathlete and IronMan.
