Jason Wulfsohn, a renowned writer, director, and agency creative, boasts an impressive twenty-year career spanning multiple platforms, including feature films, broadcast commercials, digital content, and branded entertainment. With a remarkable track record of success, Jason has worked across a wide range of industries, from consumer electronics and information technology to action sports, financial services, and pharmaceuticals.
Jason's entrepreneurial spirit led him to launch Jam Media in 1998, a broadcast production company that produced and directed hundreds of TV spots for leading agencies and brands over the course of ten years. This achievement laid the foundation for his future endeavors, including the co-founding of ONE/x, an independent ad agency, in 2008. As executive creative director, Jason oversaw work for a diverse range of clients, cementing his reputation as a master of his craft.
In 2013, Jason joined an investment group that acquired a portfolio of digital agencies and technology platforms, which were later integrated into AUDIENCEX, a leading advertising technology and marketing company. This strategic move marked a significant milestone in Jason's career, solidifying his position as a key player in the industry.
Jason's passion for storytelling has led him to work with a variety of non-profit organizations, including Rock The Vote, Save The Children, and The Packard Foundation. Jason's feature film debut, THE BONE SNATCHER, a supernatural thriller set on the Skeleton Coast in Namibia, was released by First Look Media in North America and Overseas Film Group in 2002. This critically acclaimed film was followed by TRACING COWBOYS, a feature film that Jason co-wrote and directed, which received the AFI HDNet Award for best feature and was distributed by Vanguard Cinema.
Throughout his career, Jason's projects have garnered top honors at numerous film festivals, including the Hamptons International Film Festival, New Orleans Film Festival, Nashville Film Festival, Chicago International Film Festival, AFI Dallas, and Cinequest.
Jason's academic background is equally impressive, with a BA and MA in English Literature from Cambridge University and an MFA from USC Film School, where he received the prestigious John Huston directing scholarship. He is a member of the Directors Guild of America and resides in Los Angeles with his wife and two sons.
