Jason Koch is a multifaceted director, writer, and producer renowned for his distinctive dark tone and unsettling creative vision. Born in Baltimore, Maryland, Jason's career in the film industry began as a special effects artist, with credits in both film and television. He further developed his skills and unique screenwriting style by graduating from the prestigious TV and Film program at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).
After two decades of successfully running his East Coast special effects business, Jason redirected his attention towards directing and writing. Over the last decade, he has penned, produced, and directed three feature films and four short films, including the critically acclaimed "Lamplight" and "HIDE." His first feature, "7th Day," was released in 2013, followed by "Pig Pen" in 2015, which garnered numerous nominations and awards, as well as a cult following. The success of both films led to the creation of his third feature, "Beneath the Black Veil," in 2019.
