Biography

Jason Henry Dawe is a renowned English motoring journalist, car enthusiast, television presenter, and personality, whose professional career has been marked by a mix of success and challenges.

In 2002, Dawe co-presented the inaugural series of Top Gear alongside Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond, a stint that unfortunately came to an abrupt end in 2003, when he was replaced by James May, a more popular presenter at the time.

Following his departure from Top Gear, Dawe took a three-year break from presenting and, in 2005, returned to television screens with the Used Car Roadshow, a program that unfortunately failed to gain traction and was subsequently canceled in 2007.

Despite his efforts to revive his presenting career, Dawe was unable to secure a role in future productions and has since returned to his roots in journalism, where he continues to work as a respected and accomplished motoring journalist.
