Janet Craig is a multi-talented individual, hailing from Arizona, who has made a name for herself in the entertainment industry as an actress, writer, producer, and director. Her educational background is impressive, having earned a degree in Theatre from Trinity University in San Antonio, Texas, where she also played on the nationally-ranked women's tennis team.
As a professional tennis player, Janet achieved world rankings in both singles and doubles, and even franchised TennisKids Inc., which was featured in Success magazine and Lifetime TV. However, her passion for the entertainment industry soon took over, and she made the move to Los Angeles to pursue her acting career full-time.
With a wealth of experience in the industry, Janet has performed in a wide range of roles on network television, film, and stage. She has had the opportunity to work with some of the best in the business, including the late Roy Brocksmith and his Broadway buddies at the California Cottage Theatre. Janet has also trained with some of the most renowned coaches in the industry, including Howard Fine, Harry Mastrogeorge, and the Groundlings.
In addition to her acting work, Janet is also a talented writer and director. She co-wrote, directed, and acted in the award-winning narrative feature film WAKE UP, which was inspired by her personal experience working with foster and trafficked youth. Janet has also directed over a dozen short films, co-founded and created original content for ProReels, and co-written another narrative feature film.
When she's not working on her latest project, Janet can be found enjoying the great outdoors, as she is a lover of the ocean, mountains, and all things nature. She is grateful to call beautiful Los Angeles home, where she lives with her family.
