Jan Schmid, a renowned actor and director, entered this world on June 14, 1936, in the picturesque city of Tábor, which was then a part of Czechoslovakia, but is now proudly known as the Czech Republic.
Throughout his illustrious career, Schmid left an indelible mark on the entertainment industry, with some of his most notable works including the 1994 production of "Amerika", the 1976 biographical drama "Michelangelo Buonarroti", and the 1982 horror film "Ferat Vampire".
In his personal life, Schmid was twice married, first to the lovely Jana Synková, and then to the beautiful Zuzana Schmidová.
Unfortunately, Jan Schmid's time on this earth came to an end on June 3, 2024, in the vibrant city of Prague, which is the capital and largest city of the Czech Republic.
