Jamie's career began at the tender age of 18, when she started writing and filming on-air segments for the popular web-based program, 'Cyberpunk.live', which aired for two years. This early start laid the foundation for her future endeavors. She then transitioned to background work on the Canadian miniseries, 'Trudeau', before furthering her education at the University of Ottawa and University of Carleton, where she pursued a dual degree in Arts and Psychology.
After completing her studies, Jamie relocated to Toronto for a brief period before making the move to North Bay, Ontario, where she began to take on more prominent roles on camera. Her foray into politics saw her run for municipal office, a testament to her versatility. She also gained experience working for TVCogeco, producing numerous news stories and pieces for Cogeco North Bay News, as well as creating local content.
Jamie's impressive resume includes work for a TV station and online newspaper, BayToday.ca, where she has had the opportunity to interview numerous celebrities and political leaders. Her acting credits include appearances in the successful television miniseries 'Death Comes to Town' (2010),alongside the iconic comedy troupe, Kids in the Hall, as well as the 2012 Genie Nominated movie 'Oliver Sherman' (2010),starring the talented Garret Dillahunt, and 'I'm Yours' (2011),featuring Rossif Sutherland and Karine Vanesse.
Most recently, Jamie wrapped up production on 'Still', starring the esteemed Oscar-nominated actor, James Cromwell, known for his iconic role in 'The Artist'.
