Imogen, an award-winning writer/director, has been recently named one of Inside Films' "Rising Stars". With a track-record spanning feature films, television, and short-form content, Imogen is known for telling thrilling, funny, and bittersweet stories of misfit characters building love and family in unique places.
In 2022, Imogen directed all 10 half-hour episodes of the new ABC ME series "SOUNDTRACK TO OUR TEENAGE ZOMBIE APOCALYPSE", which is now available to stream on ABC iView.
Imogen's debut feature film, "SUBURBAN WILDLIFE", was a runner-up for the Audience Award at the Sydney Film Festival in 2019 and premiered internationally at festivals including the Taormina Film Festival and the Cinequest Film Festival. Imogen was also honored as the Debut Director at the London Australian Film Festival in 2019. The film is currently distributed worldwide through Gravitas Ventures.
Imogen's short film "ATOMIC LOVE" has screened at several prestigious film festivals, including the 2020 BFI Flare Festival, the Edmonton International Film Festival, the Encounters Film Festival, OUTFEST LA, the Melbourne Queer Film Festival, and Short of the Week.
Imogen's web series "LOVE BUG" was funded by Screen Australia and has garnered over 2.5 million views on TikTok. Imogen's work received a Best Direction nomination from the Australian Directors' Guild, and her screenplay was nominated in its category at the 54th Australian Writers' Guild Awards.
Imogen graduated from the Australian Film Television and Radio School in 2017, receiving the prestigious EU Film Award for her short film "GEM". She also won the Best Australian Music Video award for "SAVANNAH" at the 2019 Clipped Music Video Awards.
Imogen is a graduate of the prestigious Masters of Directing program at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, California, which was named the #1 Film School in the World by the Hollywood Reporter.
Imogen holds dual UK/Australian citizenship.
