Ian Gregg, born to single mother Michelle Gregg and a native of Atlanta, embarked on a theatrical journey at the tender age of 11. This remarkable start was catalyzed by a serendipitous invitation to an audition from his fellow thespian Mahdi A. Clark, which ultimately led to a performance for over 30 esteemed agents attending an exclusive showcase.
Following this auspicious event, Ian received numerous offers from prominent agencies in both Los Angeles and the Southeast, ultimately signing with the prestigious Houghton Talent of Atlanta, Georgia in March 2013.
Throughout his impressive career, Ian has had the privilege of working on over 35 sets within the past three years.
Ian's passion for the craft of acting was nurtured through his studies of the Meisner Method under the guidance of Vince Pisani, where he was one of the youngest students in a class of seasoned professionals, and the Strasberg Method under the tutelage of Jayson Warner Smith.
Ian's academic accomplishments are equally impressive, as he attended The Dekalb School of the Arts, renowned for its excellence in both academics and the performing arts. He maintained a remarkable GPA of 3.5 or above, and was an active member of the Beta Club, the Drama Ensemble, and The International Thespian Society, with a focus on a Drama Major and a Creative Writing Minor.
Ian's dedication and talent were evident, as he was one of the few students to audition for and secure leading roles in his first year of attendance at DSA, a remarkable achievement in his 8th grade year.
Ian is still deeply devoted to his high school sweetheart, and his compassionate nature is reflected in his love for animals and his decision to follow a vegetarian lifestyle.
