Hunter Garner, an American Actor, was born on July 25, 1985, in Forth Worth, Texas. He spent his childhood in Keller, Texas, raised by his parents Monte and Linda Garner, alongside his sister Hayley Garner Webb. From a young age, Hunter was an athletic enthusiast, participating in various sports such as football, basketball, baseball, track and field, and cross-country.
Throughout his high school years, Hunter excelled in his athletic endeavors, earning accolades in the 800m and 1600m events, as well as in cross-country. He was a two-time district champion in the 800m, a one-time district champion in the 1600m, and a two-time district and region team champion in cross-country. Additionally, he was a state finalist in the 800m and cross-country events.
Hunter's passion for the arts was evident in his participation in choir, where he placed first in the UIIL 5A State Solo and Ensemble as a Tenor I. He received an athletic scholarship to attend Baylor University, where he studied track and field and cross-country.
During his college years, Hunter discovered his passion for acting and began studying and training in his spare time. In his final semester, he landed a principal role in the Lionsgate-distributed horror film, The Final. Upon graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Education, Exercise Physiology degree, Hunter relocated to Los Angeles to pursue his acting career.
Hunter has since appeared in various projects, including the first two episodes of Alan Ball's Banshee, Lifetime Network's Gone Missing, and Funny or Die's sketch comedy, Laura. He has also starred in numerous shorts, such as Noodles, Great to See You, and Chew, which have received official selection in several acclaimed film festivals.
In addition to his acting career, Hunter has built a reputation for his carpentry and metal fabrication skills, taking on custom furniture projects as a side career and hobby. When not working, Hunter can be found in his kickboxing gym, on the football and softball fields, helping those in need, or exploring the great outdoors.
With a deep appreciation for nature, Hunter often finds himself drawn to the desert, mountains, and sea, seeking to find awe and wonder in God's magnificent creation.
