Harry Gregson-Williams is a renowned British composer, born to a musical family in England. He was awarded a choral scholarship to St. John's College, Cambridge, at the age of 7, and later attended London's Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where he received an honorary fellowship.
Gregson-Williams began his film career as an assistant to composer Richard Harvey and later as an orchestrator and arranger for Stanley Myers. He then went on to compose his first scores for director Nicolas Roeg.
Throughout his career, Gregson-Williams has worked with numerous directors, including Ridley Scott, Hans Zimmer, and Ben Affleck. He has received numerous awards and nominations, including the BMI Icon Award, the Ambassador Award, and multiple Grammy and Golden Globe nominations.
Gregson-Williams has also collaborated with various recording artists, including Regina Spektor, Imogen Heap, and Christina Aguilera. He has composed music for numerous films, including the "Shrek" franchise, "The Chronicles of Narnia" series, and "Gladiator II."
