Noted thespian, Riddle, embarked upon a journey to pursue a career in acting, following a serendipitous encounter with the legendary silent screen icon, Billie Dove, who graciously responded to his enthusiastic letter with an autographed photograph.
In addition to his burgeoning acting career, Riddle nurtured a passion for collecting movie memorabilia, which would eventually evolve into an impressive collection of over 1,700 items. In 2001, he made the philanthropic decision to donate his esteemed collection to his alma mater, Murray State University in Kentucky.
Riddle's inaugural professional gig was in the esteemed realm of summer stock theatre in Allentown, Pennsylvania, where he had the privilege of sharing a living space with the illustrious Jack Lemmon, a friendship that would endure throughout the years.
Furthermore, Riddle had the distinction of working alongside the King of Rock and Roll, Elvis Presley, in a quartet of his cinematic ventures. Throughout his illustrious career, Riddle appeared in a staggering total of approximately two dozen films and over 400 television programs.
