He took his first steps in the world of theatre at the Csokonai theatre in Debrecen after graduating from college in 1971. This marked the beginning of a long and illustrious career, with subsequent performances at the Petofi theatre in Veszprem.
Throughout his illustrious career, he has had the privilege of working with esteemed institutions such as the National theatre, the Mafilm theatre group, and the Katona Jozsef theatre in Kecskemet. Prior to 1994, he held the position of artistic director at the Labdater teatrum theatre for a few years.
In 1994, he made the transition to the Uj Theatre, where he continues to work as an actor to this day. In addition to his theatre work, he has also made a significant impact in the world of film, with his friend and renowned director, Miklos Jancso, being a constant source of inspiration.
Throughout his career, he has received numerous accolades and awards, including the prestigious Balazs Bela award in 1982, the Erdemes Muvesz award in 1986, the Elizabeth award in both 1987 and 1990, the SZOT award in 1988, and the Kossuth award in 1990.
