Gurvinder Singh is a renowned Indian film director, renowned for his exceptional work in the Punjabi language film industry. His notable films include "Anhe Ghore Da Daan" and "Chauthi Koot", the latter of which premiered at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival. In 2016, Singh received an invitation from a Turkish production house to direct a short film titled "Infiltrator", which is part of an international anthology of ten short films from ten countries, aptly titled "In The Same Garden". This anthology made its world premiere at the esteemed Sarajevo Film Festival in 2016. Furthermore, Singh has also created an experimental film, inspired by the short stories of the celebrated Colombian writer, Gabriel Garcia Marquez, as part of a workshop with students of acting at the Film and Television Institute of India (FTII). This 45-minute film, titled "Sea of Lost Time", premiered at the renowned Rotterdam Film Festival in 2019.
