Biography of a talented individual:
Born in the vibrant city of Mumbai, previously known as Bombay, to parents of Pathan descent who had settled in the city. Her family's roots traced back to Punjab, specifically the Tarn Taran Sahib district, prior to the partition. Her grandfather migrated to India in the 1920s. Her father was a successful businessman, while her paternal grandfather was a land developer. Her mother was a devoted housewife, and her father worked for the Portuguese customs.
With a deep passion for the performing arts, she began her journey on the stage, taking on roles as an amateur actress, director, and writer. She was fortunate enough to share the stage with renowned industry professionals, learning valuable skills and techniques. For nearly three decades, she pursued her passion, eventually deciding to share her talent with the world.
At the age of 30, she began her television career with the popular serial "Lipstick." Since then, there has been no looking back. She discovered a new talent for story writing and, in 2005, penned her first script for a friend. Although the movie did not see the light of day, she had honed her skills and went on to ghostwrite for several writers in the following years.
In 2008, she was approached to write the dialogues for Jennifer Lynch's film "Hisss," starring Mallika Sherawat and Irrfan Khan. As of 2013, she has written seven full scripts, waiting for the green light to bring them to life. She has also been a part of the comedy circus season one team as a writer and is currently working on her second film as a writer, following her successful collaboration on "Hissss."
