Greg Marcks, a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University and the Florida State Film Conservatory, has garnered numerous accolades for his work as a filmmaker, including a prestigious student Academy Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
Marcks initially penned 11:14 (2003),a darkly comedic thriller that chronicles a fateful night in small-town America. The tightly crafted script swiftly circulated through Hollywood, ultimately securing Oscar-winner Hilary Swank as the producer and star of the picture. Marcks then assembled a distinguished ensemble cast for his directorial debut, featuring Patrick Swayze, Ben Foster, and Rachael Leigh Cook. The well-received film has since become a cult favorite.
Prior to directing his next project, Marcks wrote several screenplays for major Hollywood studios. He then took on the directorial reins for Echelon Conspiracy (2009),an action-thriller that filmed on location in Sofia, Bangkok, Prague, and Moscow. The film tracks an international conspiracy and boasts an impressive cast, including Ving Rhames, Jonathan Pryce, and Martin Sheen.
Marcks' forthcoming project, "You Don't Love Me Yet," is set to film in the Silverlake neighborhood of Los Angeles.
