Person Biography:
Grace Wan was born in Edmonton, Alberta, and grew up with two loving parents and two younger siblings. From a young age, she developed a passion for the arts, joining a ballet dancing class at the tender age of five. Later, her family relocated to Port Coquitlam, where she attended Central Elementary School from grade one to six. During her elementary school years, she was an active member of the Brownies and Girl Guides Group, and also took lessons in skating, singing, guitar, and piano.
As she entered her pre-teen years, Grace continued to nurture her talents, participating in various talent shows for her piano and singing performances. She then attended Citadel Middle School from 1994 to 1996, followed by Riverside Secondary School from 1996 to 2000. Upon graduating from high school in 2000, she received numerous certificates for her outstanding work habits and volunteer work at the school. Additionally, she achieved level 5 and 6 piano certifications from the Royal Conservatory of Music, and received two certificates for her exceptional skills.
After completing her high school education, Grace enrolled in the Computer Office System program at Theo BC school, where she graduated in 2003 with straight As in her computer course. She was awarded the Most Hard-Working Student award from the school, and subsequently landed a job as an office assistant at the Mainstream Company. She continued to work at the POCO Office Building while pursuing her passion for the arts.
In her pursuit of acting, Grace took classes at the Westcoast Actors Studio, Moonstone Theatre, Vancouver Academy of Dramatic Arts, and Granville Actors Studio, earning a certificate for the completion of her acting class. She then enrolled in the Film and Digital Arts program at the Pacific Audio Visual Institute, graduating with the Most Hard-Working Student award. Her first acting job was for the student film "Shampoolzed," and she also worked as an extra for the fund-raising film "Graffiti Flowers."
In 2006, Grace attempted to audition for two popular TV singing competition shows, Canadian Idol and Rock Star. Her journey in the entertainment industry has been marked by perseverance, dedication, and a passion for the arts.
