Frankie Shaw

Franklin grew up in the charming town of Brookline, Massachusetts, surrounded by a rich cultural heritage. Her mother, hailing from the historic South Boston neighborhood, played a significant role in shaping Frankie's upbringing and instilling in her a strong sense of Jewish identity. With a keen passion for the written word, Frankie pursued her academic interests at the prestigious Barnard College of Columbia University, where she earned a degree in English literature. Her impressive educational background served as the perfect springboard for her burgeoning acting career. Frankie's first foray into the world of film came with the critically acclaimed, completely improvised Sundance production, The Freebie, a Duplass Brother production that showcased her impressive range and versatility as a performer. Her subsequent appearance as the quirky, drunken cheerleader in the popular sitcom Blue Mountain State further cemented her status as a talented and captivating on-screen presence.
