Felix Salten

Felix Salten, a renowned writer and director, made his entry into the world on September 6, 1869, in the vibrant city of Pest, Hungary. This remarkable individual would go on to leave an indelible mark on the world of literature and film, with some of his most notable works including the timeless classic "Bambi", released in 1942, as well as "Poor as a Church Mouse", which premiered in 1931, and "Der Narr des Schicksals", a poignant tale that first captivated audiences in 1915. Throughout his life, Salten was blessed with the love and companionship of his wife, the wonderful Ottilie Metzl. Tragically, Felix Salten's remarkable journey came to an end on October 8, 1945, in the picturesque city of Zurich, Switzerland, leaving behind a legacy that would continue to inspire and delight generations to come.
