Fatmir Spahiu is a multifaceted actor and producer, currently residing in Prishtina, Kosovo. As a seasoned thespian, he has had the privilege of performing in an array of films, sitcoms, and theatrical productions. Moreover, he is the visionary founder of BUKA productions, a Prishtina-based company that has been a driving force in the region's creative landscape since 2008.
Under the BUKA umbrella, Fatmir has overseen the production of a diverse range of projects, including commercials, marketing campaigns, concerts, festivals, sitcoms, theater and audiovisual initiatives, documentary films, and even feature-length movies. Two notable examples of his work include the films "Distant Angels" and "Cold November", the latter of which is set to make its world premiere at the prestigious San Sebastian Film Festival in September 2018.
Fatmir's latest project, "Iliricum", is a feature film co-production between Croatia, Slovenia, Italy, and Kosovo. This ambitious endeavor showcases his commitment to collaboration and his ability to bring together creative forces from across the region.
Fatmir's academic background is equally impressive. He studied acting at the Academy of Dramatic Arts at the University of Prishtina, where he was mentored by the renowned professor Faruk Begolli.
