Eve Annenberg, a talented individual, embarked on a journey that would shape her future. She graduated from the Juilliard School's Drama Division, Group 14, alongside notable alumni Thomas Gibson, Bradley Whitford, Wendell Pierce, Michael Gill, Juliet Pritner, and artist Regina Herod.
Eve's academic pursuits continued at Columbia University Graduate School of Film, where she studied alongside fellow students Kimberly Pierce, Andy Bienen, Patrick Stettner, Tony Gerber, and Mark Christopher. During her time there, she and Robert Pulcini worked together in the equipment room.
Eve decided to leave graduate school to pursue her passion for filmmaking, producing her first feature, "DOGS: The Rise and Fall of an All-Girl Bookie Joint." Although the film is now ripe for a remake, Eve went on to produce approximately eight features, showcasing her skill in managing budgets and sometimes providing uncredited re-writes.
Eve's production credits include Tony Jaswinski's ("The Shallows") first feature, which premiered at the Sundance Competition, all while being produced on a modest budget. After the 9/11 attacks, Eve took an accelerated course in nursing and became an Emergency Room RN, working in various urban hospitals, including Bellevue, CUNY Downstate, and Boston's Beth Israel, for several years.
Eve eventually returned to her roots in acting, writing, producing, and directing. Although she misses the camaraderie with her nursing colleagues, she is grateful to have left the profession behind.
In 2015, Eve remarried and, along with her husband Matt Jacobs, adopted three young brothers from Donetsk, Ukraine in 2016. Born and raised in Boston, Eve attended Boston Latin School, studied at Wesleyan and NYU, and even took courses in Russian at Harvard, which has proven to be an invaluable skill.
Eve is represented by Lawrence Mattis at Circle of Confusion, along with her long-term writing partner Stephanie Sharpe. Producer Jane Wright, a former BBC colleague and Columbia alumna, is actively involved in Eve's current project, "Lulabelle and Sydney on the Lower East Side."
Eve is deeply committed to various causes, including the ACLU, The Parents Family Circle (a peace-promoting organization focused on Israeli-Palestinian relations),farm animal sanctuaries, breast cancer organizations, and the entertainment industry. She also has a special affection for the town of Provincetown, Massachusetts.
