Eva Dorrepaal is a multifaceted artist, boasting an impressive résumé that spans over five decades, with more than 50 independent films under her belt. These cinematic endeavors have garnered widespread recognition, with screenings at over 100 esteemed film festivals worldwide, including the prestigious Cannes, Toronto, and Sundance festivals.

As an actress and playwright, Eva has made significant appearances in European television programs, showcasing her versatility and range. Her educational background in acting and directing from the Netherlands laid the foundation for her subsequent endeavors.

Eva's career took an unexpected turn when she was invited to join the renowned KPGT theater group in former Yugoslavia, where she resided and performed during the tumultuous Serbo-Croatian war. This experience had a profound impact on her artistic development, allowing her to hone her craft in a unique and challenging environment.

Throughout her career, Eva has had the privilege of collaborating with esteemed filmmakers, including Edwin Brienen, Jonathan Caouette, Jorge Torres-Torres, Onur Tukel, Mars Roberge, and others. Her work with Brienen has resulted in leading roles in almost all of his feature films, shot on location in Amsterdam and Berlin.

In the late 1990s, Eva made the bold decision to relocate to New York, where she has continued to work with a diverse range of filmmakers. In addition to her work in film, Eva has also ventured into playwriting, penning three notable theater plays: Mata Hari, Lovers, Letters, and Killers, and Raising a Revolutionary.
