Biography

Eric Eisner's professional journey began in the sports industry, where he worked for the Anaheim Ducks, a National Hockey League (NHL) team, in their hockey operations department. During his tenure, he successfully renegotiated both the radio and television contracts, demonstrating his negotiation skills.

In addition to his contract renegotiation efforts, Eisner also spent two years as a talent scout, participating in the scout table during NHL entry drafts. This experience likely honed his ability to identify and evaluate potential talent.

After his stint in the sports industry, Eisner turned his attention to the world of entertainment. He founded Romp.com, a popular original content site that produced short-form animations and live-action shows. Eisner's creative talents extended to writing and directing, as evidenced by his work on "Jake's Booty Call," an animated feature-length film based on a short on Romp.com and distributed by National Lampoon.

In 2005, Eisner co-created and executive produced the television show "Madden Nation" for ESPN Networks. The show has undergone four cycles, including the 2008 season, showcasing Eisner's ability to develop and produce engaging content.

In 2006, Eisner founded L + E Pictures, a production company that produced the critically acclaimed film "Hamlet 2." The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, in January 2008, sparking a bidding war for distribution rights, which Focus Features ultimately acquired for a near-record $10 million.

Eisner's academic background includes a Bachelor of Arts degree from Dartmouth College and a Master of Business Administration from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.

In his personal life, Eisner is married to Stacey Bendet, the founder of Alice + Olivia.
