Biography

Emmi Shockley is a multifaceted creative individual who has made a name for herself in the world of filmmaking and acting, hailing from the coastal town of Ocean City, Maryland.

As a teenager, Emmi gained valuable experience in the independent film industry when she was cast in Michael Tully's 2014 Sundance feature, Ping Pong Summer, marking the beginning of her illustrious career.

After completing her formal education at the prestigious New York University Tisch School of the Arts, where she earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Film and Television Production in 2019, Emmi went on to write, direct, and produce a trio of award-winning short films, namely Squall, J-1, and Don't Be a Baby.

By the tender age of twenty-four, Emmi had already achieved a significant milestone, producing her first feature film, a queer romantic comedy titled Throuple, set to be released in 2024.
