Elle Peterson is a talented young actress who was discovered by renowned casting director Mali Finn, known for finding Anna Paquin and Keisha Castle-Hughes. Her breakthrough role was in the critically acclaimed Warner Bros. drama "North Country", directed by Niki Caro and starring Academy Award winners Charlize Theron, Frances McDormand, and Sissy Spacek, as well as Woody Harrelson, Richard Jenkins, and Sean Bean.
In "North Country", Elle played the role of Karen Aimes, the young daughter of Charlize Theron's character. The film received widespread critical acclaim, with Theron and McDormand earning Academy Award nominations for their performances.
