Elise Muller, a talented individual, was born and raised in Northbrook, a charming suburb of Chicago. She pursued her passion for the performing arts by graduating from The University of Arizona with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Acting/Directing.
After completing her education, Elise began her career in modeling and acting in Chicago. However, she soon received an opportunity to model in Japan, which ultimately led her to relocate to Los Angeles to focus on her acting ambitions.
In Los Angeles, Elise quickly landed guest starring roles in popular television shows such as "Baywatch Nights" and "Diagnosis Murder." Her breakthrough role was in the film "Lola's Game," produced by the renowned Roger Corman. This marked the beginning of her extensive film career, which would take her to various countries, including Canada, Bulgaria, and the Czech Republic.
Elise's impressive filmography includes a range of genres, from science fiction to comedies and thrillers. One of her most notable roles was opposite Academy Award winner Mo'Nique in the 20th Century Fox comedy "Phat Girlz" (2006).
Elise had the privilege of working with the talented directors Jay and Mark Duplass on the film "Baghead" (2008),in which she played the role of Catherine. The film premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and was later acquired by Sony Pictures Classics. She also secured a Series Regular role in the popular Cable Comedy Series "Canoga Park" (2007),where she portrayed the character of Katherine, an attorney.
Elise's childhood was marked by a unique set of circumstances. Tragically, her father, Lt. Stephen Peter Muller USMC, was killed in action during the Vietnam War just a month before her birth, on July 2, 1967. Her mother, Jane Muller, a strong and resilient individual, raised Elise as a single parent. Jane's service as a Peace Corps volunteer and her work teaching English in the Philippines had a profound impact on Elise's life. Her mother's love for film also played a significant role in shaping Elise's early dreams of becoming an actress.
