Elisabeth Carpenter is a highly accomplished professional Stuntwoman based in Los Angeles, California, boasting an impressive array of film and television credits, including Captain Marvel, Avengers: Endgame, Insurgent, Fear the Walking Dead, The Wrong Missy, Wonder Woman, and The Polar Express, among many others.
Her expertise lies in wire work, high work, and she is constantly striving to expand her skill set to encompass a wide range of activities, from riding motorcycles to scuba diving, acting, singing, and dancing.
Born and raised in Vermont as part of a large family, Elisabeth spent her childhood as a competitive gymnast and all-around athlete, participating in any sport she could find, climbing trees, swinging from branches, and leaping from heights, expending an endless amount of energy.
She began singing professionally at a young age, performing with her family, local groups, and touring extensively with Village Harmony. At the age of 13, Elisabeth started performing with Circus Smirkus, and at 19, she made the bold decision to move to Los Angeles to pursue a career in the circus.
Her 15-year tenure as a Circus aerialist, acrobat, and generalist provided a strong foundation for her stunt work, while her unique upbringing and world travels prepared her for the exciting yet often demanding lifestyle of a stunt performer.
When she's not leaping off buildings or battling villains on screen, Elisabeth can be found writing and playing music with her husband, Scotty, as part of their power duo, Cake Without Candles. She still enjoys traveling, taking photographs, writing, drawing, exploring the great outdoors, and meeting new and interesting people from all walks of life.
