Eddie Nason's early life unfolded in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, a historic industrialized mill city situated just north of the state capital, Providence. Born and raised in this urban setting, he was surrounded by the sounds and smells of the city's industrial heritage. Growing up, Eddie was fortunate to have a close-knit family, consisting of his mother, father, and two older sisters, all of whom resided in a two-family home.
As a child, Eddie attended public school, where he developed a passion for sports. He played a variety of sports throughout his high school years, with baseball, football, and basketball being his favorites. Cross-country and track would later become his primary sports during his adolescent years. Eddie's academic pursuits led him to study marketing with a concentration in finance, which he pursued through various colleges.
To support his young family, Eddie worked a string of jobs in the service industry, including restaurants, retail, and hospitality. However, it was during this period that he began to feel an itch for the performing arts. His journey as an actor commenced when he was approached by the artistic director of a community theatre in his hometown, who was looking to stage a summer production of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew at an outdoor amphitheater overlooking the river. Eddie landed the role of 'Lucentio' and received positive reviews and publicity for his performance.
This experience marked the beginning of Eddie's foray into the world of television and film. He soon found himself working on a real "Hollywood" film set, shooting in Rhode Island. The encouragement he received from his peers further solidified his decision to pursue a career in the entertainment industry.
