Douglas' origin story begins in Longmeadow, Massachusetts, where his fascination with acting first emerged through his first pair of Underoos. The sheer joy of pretend play ignited his imagination and sparked a lifelong passion. Years later, during rehearsals for his high school's production of "Grease", Douglas discovered his true calling.
Subsequently, he pursued further education at the prestigious British American Drama Academy in England and Ithaca College's BFA Acting Program. Upon graduation, Douglas spent a summer honing his craft with the esteemed Hampshire Shakespeare Company before making the move to New York City.
In the city that never sleeps, Douglas found success on the Off-Broadway stage with the critically acclaimed "Never Swim Alone" and in the NYC Premiere of "The Action Against Sol Schumman" by Jeffery Sweet. Additionally, he landed several national commercials and numerous short films, including one that saw him share the screen with the legendary Peter Boyle.
