Prior to embarking on a career in the entertainment industry, Yesso's passion for football led him to serve as a high school coach in the city of Baton Rouge. It was during this time that he crossed paths with renowned director Hugh Wilson in a Los Angeles airport, sparking a lasting friendship that would ultimately alter the course of his life.
Wilson, impressed by Yesso's charisma, extended an invitation to join the cast of the upcoming television series "Frank's Place", marking the beginning of Yesso's foray into the world of entertainment.
