Don Tracy, a renowned writer, was born in New Britain, Connecticut, in the year 1905. Following his college graduation, he embarked on a career as a reporter for several local newspapers, laying the foundation for his future endeavors. In 1928, Tracy made the bold move to New York City, where he secured a position as editor of Radio News, a prominent publication of its time.

As his writing skills continued to flourish, Tracy published his debut novel, "All Sold!", in 1934, marking the beginning of a successful literary career. His second novel, "Flash", soon followed, cementing his reputation as a talented author. Throughout the 1950s, Tracy taught courses at Syracuse University in New York, while simultaneously devoting himself to crafting a series of historical novels that garnered widespread acclaim.

However, Tracy's true passion lay in the realm of crime fiction, and he went on to write numerous novels within this genre. Under the pseudonym "Roger Fuller", he also penned novelizations of films, such as the 1954 release "Sign of the Pagan", as well as scripts for popular television series like "The Defenders", "Burke's Law", "The Fugitive", and "Peyton Place".

Tracy's remarkable career was marked by a combination of literary and screenwriting accomplishments. He passed away in Florida in 1976, leaving behind a legacy that continues to inspire and entertain readers to this day.
