Deepak Anand's fascination with films began during his university days in Mumbai, India, a city renowned for its vibrant film industry, also known as "Bollywood", which had a profound impact on his life. After completing his degrees in Economics and Law, he ventured into the Aviation Industry, where he spent 35 years holding senior management positions in Marketing & Advertising before retiring.
Following his retirement, Anand rekindled his passion for the creative field of acting and subsequently entered the world of modeling and acting. He has since accumulated a reasonable amount of experience in both modeling and acting, featuring in short and feature films, commercials, and music videos in speaking and featured roles, and has developed a comfort level in front of the camera.
Despite being 66 years old, Anand has a playing age of around 55, which allows him to take on a wide range of character roles. His unique physical appearance, characterized by his olive skin tone and distinctive walrus moustache, makes him an ideal candidate for South Asian, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, or South American character roles.
To further hone his skills and enhance his acting abilities, Anand successfully completed an acting course and was awarded a Diploma in "Acting for the Camera" by the London Academy for Media Film TV, UK in December 2015.
