Davy Raphaely is a talented actor based in New York City, hailing from Baltimore, Maryland. From a young age of 10, he began taking acting and dance lessons, which ultimately led him to pursue a major in acting at the Carver Center for Arts and Technology high school. Upon graduation, he received a prestigious scholarship to attend the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where he earned a BFA in Acting and was awarded the University of the Arts Performance Award.
Davy's professional career began on stage in Philadelphia, where he performed in eleven productions at the esteemed Philadelphia Shakespeare Theatre. His impressive range of roles included the title role in Romeo and Juliet to himself in The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged). He has collaborated with numerous award-winning companies throughout Philadelphia, such as Walnut Street Theatre, Philadelphia Theatre Company, and Arden Theatre Company. Additionally, he has undertaken two international tours with Walnut Street Theatre, performing in Proof and A Life in the Theatre.
Now a Brooklyn resident, Davy still maintains a strong connection to Philadelphia and considers it his "home away from home." As he continues to grow his film and television career, he has been featured in multiple short and feature films. Most recently, he starred as the lead in The Special, directed by B. Harrison Smith, which is set to be released on October 13th, 2020 and will be showcased at the Grimmfest International Film Festival in Manchester, UK.
