Daniel John Pinder was born on July 8, 1994, at the prestigious United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. Growing up in the small town of Fargo, North Dakota, Pinder developed a passion for high-level ice hockey and skateboarding, which would later become a significant part of his career.
As a teenager, Pinder worked at a local pizza shop to support his education, while also pursuing his love for acting. After graduating from high school, he made the bold decision to relocate to Minneapolis and eventually, the Chicago scene, to pursue his dreams in the entertainment industry.
Throughout his journey, Pinder studied acting at various esteemed institutions across the Midwest, Los Angeles, and New York City, including The Green Room Studio in Chicago.
In 2014, Pinder's breakthrough performance as Michael in the first season of Dick Wolf's hit drama Chicago PD on NBC catapulted him to recognition. His portrayal of a skateboard punk thief on the show earned him a reputation as a talented and versatile actor.
Following his success on Chicago PD, Pinder was approached by Warner Bros to join the production of We Are Your Friends, starring Zac Efron, where he utilized his skateboarding expertise. During his time on the film set, Pinder met producer Anne Stimac, who saw great potential in him and offered him the lead role of Clash in the action film Skate God, alongside Oscar-nominated actor Peter Fonda and Evan Ross from The Hunger Games.
Pinder's impressive performance in Skate God led to a string of high-profile film projects, including the drama "Sarah" alongside actress Virginia Madsen, the thriller "hEAR", the drama "Lincoln Road" alongside UFC star Amanda Nunes, the action film Soul Drift, and the massive franchise "Garrison 7: The Fallen" from Gena8 Studios Australia.
