Dana Segal's life began in the vibrant city of Chicago, where she attended the esteemed Francis W Parker School, an institution renowned for its academic excellence and notable alumni, including Daryl Hannah, Anne Heche, and Jennifer Beals.
Subsequently, Dana pursued higher education at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, before relocating to London to hone her craft at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts, a prestigious institution dedicated to the study of classical theatre.
Throughout her illustrious career, Dana has had the privilege of performing on stage at esteemed venues such as EST, Naked Angels, Atlantic Theatre, Drury Lane, LAByrinth Theater, and Culture Project, as well as at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland.
Currently, Dana's talents can be seen and heard in various commercials and voice overs, bringing her unique charm to the small screen.
Notable performances include her roles on the popular soap opera One Life To Live, the 2013 Oscar-winning short film Curfew, and the web series Kat & Eis, where she received the Outstanding Guest Actor in A Comedy award.
Dana is also an ardent environmentalist, actively working with organizations such as WWF, NRDC, Film Aid, Waves for Water, NPC, and River Keeper. In her personal life, she has taken the initiative to renovate her home using only green materials, which sparked a flurry of questions from friends seeking advice on how to adopt eco-friendly habits. She has also been invited to share her expertise at numerous TED talks, discussing her experiences and the benefits of sustainable living.
Dana holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from New York University and has also studied at RADA and Second City.
