Cristi Puiu, a renowned filmmaker, was ushered into this world on the third day of April, 1967, in the vibrant city of Bucharest, Romania.
With a dual talent for direction and writing, Puiu has left an indelible mark on the cinematic world through his work on a plethora of films, including the critically acclaimed "Aurora" (2010),"Sieranevada" (2016),and the thought-provoking "The Death of Mr. Lazarescu" (2005).
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Puiu's personal life is marked by a deep commitment to his partner, Anca Puiu, whom he wed on April 21, 1998.
