Craig Titley is a multifaceted film and television writer/producer who embarked on his Hollywood career as a production assistant for feature films and television movies, laying the groundwork for his future success.
He spent three years honing his craft in film development, serving as an assistant story editor for renowned director Joe Dante, responsible for iconic films such as Gremlins and Innerspace, and as a creative executive for Nickelodeon Movies.
Titley's screenwriting credits include the first live-action Scooby-Doo movie, co-story written with James Gunn, as well as Cheaper by the Dozen and Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief. His latest feature film projects include adaptations of Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Arabian Nights, and Dean Koontz's Oddkins, with Sam Raimi producing the former.
Titley's films have collectively grossed nearly a billion dollars in worldwide box office, solidifying his position as a successful screenwriter.
In television, Titley collaborated with George Lucas and Lucasfilm Animation, penning episodes of the acclaimed series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. He also worked as a writer/producer on the NBC super-hero series The Cape and currently serves as an Executive Producer and Writer on Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Craig Titley was born in Mattoon, Illinois, and holds degrees in both English and Business Management from Eastern Illinois University. He furthered his education by receiving an MFA from the University of Southern California's Peter Stark Program and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Mythological Studies at Pacifica Graduate Institute, home to the esteemed Joseph Campbell library.
In addition to his film and television endeavors, Titley recently launched Discount Anarchy, a comprehensive entertainment company encompassing film and television production, publishing, games, music, artist management, and concert promotion.
