Connie Cooper, a talented individual with a strong background in the performing arts, earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech and Master of Arts degree in Theatre Arts from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois. Throughout her career, she has worked tirelessly on stage, honing her craft in Chicago and Houston, Texas, from 1972 to 1987.
During her time on stage in Chicago in 1987, Connie landed her first film role, which although initially cut from the original, was later included in the Anniversary Edition DVD of Field of Dreams (1989) alongside Kevin Costner and Amy Madigan. Since then, she has seamlessly transitioned between stage and screen work, showcasing her impressive range and versatility.
Notably, Connie possesses a powerful legit singing voice, classified as mezzo soprano-alto, which she has utilized in various productions throughout her career.
