Christopher Erskin's illustrious career as a filmmaker began at the tender age of nine, when he started writing short films and creating home movies inspired by the works of esteemed directors such as Steven Spielberg, George Lucas, Ridley Scott, and Martin Scorsese.
As he entered the professional realm in 1996, Erskin made a name for himself by directing music videos for notable artists, including R. Kelly, T-Boz of TLC, Boyz II Men, and Teddy Riley's Blackstreet. His unique aesthetic vision and ability to capture the essence of the MTV music artist earned him widespread recognition across the industry.
Erskin's expertise in crafting high-concept commercials soon followed, with notable clients such as Pontiac, Athletes Foot, Tide, and an international Penshoppe clothing commercial featuring actress-singer Mandy Moore.
In 2004, Erskin made his feature film directorial debut with the hit family comedy, Johnson Family Vacation (2004),solidifying his position as a talented and versatile filmmaker.
