Chris, a multifaceted individual, is an accomplished actor, voice artist, writer, and producer. His educational background is rooted in the University of Pretoria, where he received the prestigious award for Best Creative Contribution to the Drama department in 2005.
Throughout his illustrious career, Chris has showcased his versatility as an actor and singer in a wide range of theatrical, television, and film productions. His impressive TV credits include starring as the sinister villain Mr. Angel in South Africa's first Superhero Television series Jongo, Kallie the klutzy IT guy in High Rollers, the charming milk farmer Myburgh in KykNet's Moeggeploeg, and notable roles in 7de Laan, the mini-series Huis van Liefde, and the Mzansi Magic drama series The Road.
As a familiar face in South African and international commercials, Chris has demonstrated his adaptability in portraying a multitude of characters for prominent national and international brands, such as Garmin, Toyota, Energade, SABC, MTN, Wimpy, and many more.
On stage, Chris has had the opportunity to perform in both musicals and straight theatre, with some of his notable credits including The Rocky Horror Show as Riff Raff, Spongebob Squarepants the Musical as Squidward, Houtkruis the musical, and Maralin Vanrenen's I Have Life, where he played the complex character of Franz du Toit.
In the realm of feature films, Chris has made notable appearances in the Netflix-produced international feature Jadotville, directed by Richie Smyth, the American post-apocalyptic horror film Last Broken Darkness, directed by Christoper-Lee dos Santos, the biopic Hansie, and the Afrikaans family film Pretville.
