Chris has recently completed his fourth feature film as the director, following a series of earlier projects that include 'Me, Myself and Di', 'The Pebble and the Boy', and the Netflix top ten hit 'Strangeways Here We Come'. His latest film, 'Synthesizer', is a dark and shocking drama inspired by the synthesizer music of the late 1970s and early 1980s.
Throughout his career, Chris has had the opportunity to collaborate with a diverse range of talented individuals, including notable actors such as Stephen Graham, Maxine Peake, Adewale Akkinouye-Agbaje, Michelle Keegan, Elaine Cassidy, Thomas Turgoose, Patsy Kensit, Chris Coghill, and Sacha Parkinson, to name just a few.
In addition to his work as a writer and director, Chris has also received recognition for his award-winning short and feature films. Furthermore, he has written for several notable television programs, including Hollyoaks, and has contributed articles to GQ Magazine.
As the director of Shout to the Top films, a northern film company, Chris has dedicated himself to creating and releasing films that are inspired by nostalgia and music from the 1970s, 1980s, and 1990s.
