Céline Beran, a multilingual individual of Czech and Indian descent, was born in College Station, Texas, to Jan Beran, a professor of mathematics and musician, and Sucharita Ghosh, a research statistician. Her parents' diverse backgrounds had a profound impact on her upbringing, as she was raised speaking multiple languages, including English, German, Swiss German, and Bengali, and is also fluent in French and Italian. Beran's early life was marked by a passion for the performing arts, which led her to train as a ballet dancer at the Zurich Dance Academy and Russian Ballet Association (Vaganova).
