Caterina Guzzanti's television career began in 1997 with a debut appearance on the satirical program "Pippo Chennedy Show". This was followed by several successful programs, including "La posta del cuore" in 1998, "L'ottavo nano" in 2000, "Il caso Scafroglia" in 2002, and "Bulldozer" in 2003.
In 2006 and 2007, Guzzanti appeared on the programs "Mai dire lunedì", "Mai dire martedì", and "Mai dire Grande Fratello" on Italia 1. From 2007 to 2010, she played the role of Arianna in the cult series "Boris" for three seasons.
In 2008, Guzzanti was part of the cast of "Parla con me", and in 2011 and 2013, she co-hosted six episodes of "Sostiene Bollani" with pianist Stefano Bollani on Rai3.
In 2012, she presented "Nanuk-Prove d'avventura" with Davide Demichelis on Rai3, and in 2013, she hosted the satirical program "La prova dell'otto" on MTV.
In 2021, Guzzanti was part of the cast of the successful game show "Lol - Chi ride è fuori" on Prime Video, and in 2022, she returned to the role of Arianna in the fourth season of "Boris".
In addition to her television work, Guzzanti has also had a successful career in theatre. She is the protagonist of "Due Partite" (2015),a play written by Cristina Comencini and directed by Paola Rota.
In cinema, Guzzanti has been amongst the protagonists of successful titles such as "Tutta la vita davanti" by Paolo Virzì (2008),"Oggi sposi" by Luca Lucini (2009),"Nessuno mi può giudicare" (2011),and "Confusi e felici" (2014) both directed by Massimiliano Bruno, "Ogni maledetto Natale" (2014) by Giacomo Ciarrapico, Mattia Torre and Luca Vendruscolo, "Mollami" by Matteo Gentiloni, and "Burraco Fatale" (2020) by Giuliana Gamba.
She has recently been in "Noi anni luce" by Tiziano Russo, and is set to appear in the soon-to-be-released "Cattiva coscienza" by Davide Minnella, and "Elf me" by YouNuts!.
